Chicago Rose took part in Chicago's Pride Parade this year. She rode on the Slugger's Dueling Piano Float with the infamous "Uncle" Dave Roberts and glamrock star Steve Kouba.

Hey folks, Rose is staying in the Windy City for May, June and July. Only making a couple of stops in Central IL and Columbia, MO, she will be pleasing her hometown fans. A long awaited return for the dueling diva.
In August Rose is set to headline the Wisconsin State Fair with the Lucille's Rockin' Piano's team from Miwaukee.
Ride the Beast Tour
From August 15 - September 18 Rose will embark upon another C OOL BUS adventure from Chicago to Black Rock City and back. Playing in a different venue every week, she will be collecting footage for her dueling piano documentary. Rose is seeking camera operators in Omaha, Boulder and Reno. She is also currently seeking a Mac savy editor for the project which contains, photos, video clips, audio clips and narration. Interested parties should call her @ 773-592-4122.

In 2005 Rose played the piano in 15 different US states, and on a Nassau cruise for Royal Caribbean Cruise line. She also lived and played for the entire month of April in Lausanne, Switzerland! Rose embarked upon a 9 1/2 week bus tour called the Smokey Rose Adventure, with her pal Holly Smokovitz. Together they drove Rose's tricked out "C OOL BUS" down Rt. 66 to Kingman, AZ, across to Las Vegas where Rose played with some of the dueling world's best looking players. Bidding Holly a farewell in Sin City, Rose continued up to Reno and Black Rock City where she participated in a week's worth of Burning activities, and then home to Chicago. Rose played at 8 different dueling piano venues on the Smokey Rose Adventure.

The Smokey Rose Adventure
Start your engines and prepare for 9 1/2 weeks of wholesome adventure with song slingers Holly Smokovitz and Chicago Rose. Beginning in Kalamazoo, Michigan and working their way down rt 66 Rose will grace the stages of eight dueling piano venues and join her fellow Burners in the Black Rock Desert's annual Burning Man festival.

Royal Caribbean Bahamas Cruise
Escaping the icy winds of her hometown, Chicago Rose got on board the Monarch of the Seas for 10 days of Caribbean sun and hot keys at night. Rose will be performing with legendary female dueler Cindy Chen and RCCL favorite, Jeff Colheran.

Rose has pounded the keys at clubs including Rumbullion's - Reno, Slugger's Bar - Chicago, DJ's Dugout - Omaha, Lucille's Rockin' Pianos, Harrah's - Vegas and Lake Tahoe, Carlos 'N Charlie's - Cancun, Axel's Bonfire Grill and Bar - MN, Monaco Bay and Pub 13 - MI, and The Reef - CO. This spring found Rose jazzing up the Windy City as a vocalist with legendary violinist Johnny Frigo and Chicago bassist Wayne Roepke at Polo Cafe Bridgeport USA. During their three month stint, they were joined by Chicago musicians including Howard Levy, Willie Pickens, Don Stille, Larry Kohut and Jim Ryan. She even got a stellar review by the Chicago Sun Times!

Chicago Rose back in the Windy City
Home at last! After a whirlwind touring schedule Rose is home to stay for awhile. 2003 saw Rose in Vegas, Lake Tahoe, Cancun, Black Rock City, and Iowa. For the rest of the year she will be concentrating on her radio show, Pop Up Chicago! and her favorite places to gig in town. See schedule for performance dates and times.

Pop Up Chicago! is Chicagoland's newest live radio show. Heating up the airways from 10:30pm-11pm every Thursday on WSBC 1240AM and WCFJ 1470AM, Chicago Rose & co-host Kevin Adair talk about what "Pops You Up." Pop Up Chicago! is optimistic radio. Cook County Treasurer's Office
Chicago Rose rocked the Cook County Treasurer's Office for the third time! Treasurer Maria Pappas welcomed Rose's performance of her original song, I Am a Butterfly, during the county's Asian Pacific Heritage Month Celebration on the morning of May 28. Click here for pictures.
Carlos 'n Charlie's in Cancun
Rose debuted with the world famous dueling piano show in Cancun, Mexico at Carlos n' Charlie's from May 16th - 22nd. She even donned a bikini for an afternoon beach photo shoot! Rose got such a great response that she went back two more times in 2003. Click here for pictures.
Las Vegas & Lake Tahoe
Rose rocked La Playa Lounge at Harrah's Casino in Las Vegas! In her debut performance, she dueled with two piano monsters, Sid Wingfield and Dave Roberts. They tore up the room with rock, funk & blues as hundreds of fans partied the night away!
Vegas loved her so much that she has been asked back to light up La Playa from April 11th -14th. In addition to that, she'll be gallavanting her way to Tahoe for a week of dueling pianos and skiing.
Rose recently appeared with performing partner Kevin Adair on WGN Radio's (AM 720) Sunday Papers radio show with Rick Kogan. Rick loved Rose and Kevin so much, he invited them back to appear in the WGN Showcase Studio on February 2. To request an audio copy of the Sunday Papers show on CD, please email us.
