Born of the diverse musical culture in the city which provides her name, the music of Chicago Rose evokes her hometown’s many influences.  Driving her sweet yet solid voice, and woven into her sound, is a true musicianship missing in many vocalists.  Chicago Rose performs as both a soloist with piano and vocals,  with her jazz ensemble, The Rose Garden, and her pop/rock band, Chicago Rose and the Thorns.Chicago Rose is an internationally known singer/songwriter who is best known for her loving ballads and upbeat jazzy style. She is a true performer whose desire to create beautiful music is outweighed only by her desire please her audiences.  With over 1000 standards spanning back to the nineteenth century, and more than 35 original tunes, Chicago Rose’s impressive repertoire allows her to create a varied and engaging concert performance at every appearance.

Chicago Rose is no stranger to the national spotlight.  She has appeared twice on national television, on the WB’s Popstars and Fox’s 30 Seconds to Fame.  Local Chicagoland television and radio stations have featured Rose extensively, and her credits include WGN-TV, CLTV, WTTW-TV’s Wild Chicago, and twice as a guest on WGN-Radio’s The Rick Kogan Show.  In print, she has been featured in the Chicago Sun-Times, the Chicago Tribune, the Lerner Newspapers, Chicago Arts and Entertainment and the Daily Southtown.  Rose has performed professionally for over 15 years, delighting audiences throughout the United States, Japan, and Germany.
